Abstract

This article, which studies a mural fragment from the hermitage of San Fructuoso de Bierge preserved in the collections of the museum of Montserrat, almost unknown and forgotten by historiography for decades, provides a plausible reading of its symbolism, linked to the aesthetics of light characteristic of the late medieval world.
