Abstract
In the 1450s, in hitherto unknown incidents, the armed bands of feudal lords in the low mountain country around Huesca and Barbastro attacked the monastery of Montearagón. In 1456 the procurator of the monastery presented a lengthy criminal case against the attackers, requesting legal intervention and describing the events in detail. This article contains a transcription of the document and commentary on some of its most notable aspects.
