Abstract

The main objective of this article is to publicize the figure of Francisco Martínez Ramírez, with a brief introduction to his intellectual biography and an overview of the months he served as civil governor appointed by the Government of the Republic in the province of Huesca and its most prominent landmarks in the Alto Aragón, thanks to its reformist and liberal ideology. The data provided are the result of an investigation whose documentary heritage has recently been donated to the Provincial Historical Archive of Huesca.
